All clients must be 18+ years of age at time of tattooing- no exceptions. You may be asked to provide photo I.D. before booking.
A deposit of £50 / £100 must be placed before any appointments are booked. This deposit secures your appointment, and pays for the time it takes to research and create your unique design.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Initial quotes given are a good estimate; various factors may change the amount of time/appointments needed to complete your tattoo. Providing as much info in the initial email/consult will help to avoid confusion between both parties.
If you have multiple appointments booked, your deposit will be deducted from your final session upon completion of your tattoo.
Your tattoo appointment starts at the time agreed. If you are more than 30 minutes late without contacting the studio, the session will be cancelled and you will have to place another £50 deposit if you wish to rebook.
If you wish to cancel/rearrange any appointment, we require 48 hours notice. If you fail to notify within that time, your deposit will be lost and a new one placed for any further bookings.
Designs are created at the beginning of every week for that upcoming weeks appointments. Enough time is alloted for minor changes, complete reworks take much further time and your booking may be pushed back to allow time.
Please remember whilst tattooing your skin is being traumatised, the first 24-48 hours the skin will swell and get sore/warm and during the healing process you should think of it as a fresh wound.
This aftercare advice is a guideline as healing can differ person to person, all skin types are individual and people heal differently. Failing to follow advice can result in poor healing, and infections can occur.
Always get in touch if you have questions or concerns.
-In most circumstances, I will apply a 'second skin', a breathable see-through bandage intended to protect the tattoo from dirt and germs during the most important first few days. DO NOT take off as soon as you leave, I advise you leave on for 3-5 days.
-During this period, you don't need to apply aftercare. The tattoo is protected under the second skin; it may look 'gooey' which is normal, this is plasma which is your body's reaction to being damaged. Try to protect the longevity of your bandage by avoiding tight clothing, and although it is waterproof please avoid soaking it in a bath, pool, sauna etc.
-Over the following days, it may be hard to see the tattoo due to plasma, again this normal and please don't be tempted to take it off early / listen to non-tattooists advice! You may experience some goo seeping from the edge of the second skin, just use a little kitchen roll to dab it away.
-When the time comes to remove the second skin, do so in the shower. Soak the area with soapy water and gently peel it away, avoiding ripping it off fast as you may irritate or bruise the skin. Any sticky residue will wash off over the next few days, avoid scrubbing.
-Wash the tattoo gently with warm water and foam aftercare if you have it. Pat dry gently with kitchen roll, as towels may harbour germs and leave fluffy residue. You may apply a thin layer of aftercare cream.
-The tattoo is still healing and may spend a further week looking dull as the skin is still in repair mode. There are a whole range of aftercare products out there; the studio stocks what you need. To avoid the tattoo feeling a little dry and tight, it's best to apply a fine layer of cream, but make sure not to use too much as your skin needs to breathe.
